Crywolf
Introduction
- The Fortress of Crywolf is located in the southeastern area of the Valley of Loren.
- It serves as a frontline stronghold where the allied forces of humans and elves stand united against Kundun's forces.
- The fortress's rugged terrain provides natural defensive barriers, making it a vital strategic location.
- Kundun's forces have been unable to advance north, resulting in a stalemate on the front lines.
- In response, Kundun has ordered Lemuria to dispatch troops to the Fortress of Crywolf to break the deadlock.
Requirements
- Regular characters (above level 10).
- Magic Gladiator and Dark Lord (above level 7).
How to Enter Crywolf
- Via the Valley of Loren (Entrance coordinates: 164,35).
- Through the Warp Menu (M).
The Crywolf Battle Stages
Stand-by
- The village's safe zone transitions into a battle zone once the fight begins.
- Players cannot use personal stores or interact with NPCs during this period.
Schedule
- The battle lasts for 30 minutes.
- Characters killed during the battle will respawn at specific locations on the map.
- The objective is to be the last man standing when the timer expires.
Wolf Statue
- This colossal guardian statue, imbued with the ancient power of the elves, possesses the ability to repel evil spirits and keep Kundun's forces at bay.
- However, the statue becomes vulnerable once a week and is attacked by Kundun's troops led by Balgass.
- Five altars surround the statue for protection; if these altars are destroyed, the statue will lose its power to defend the Fortress of Crywolf.
Altar
- The altars empower and protect the Wolf Statue, but only elves can infuse them with power.
- If the altars are destroyed, the statue loses its defense, making them a primary target for Balgass's monsters.
- Success in this quest relies on players defending both the altars and the elves who empower them.
Character Restrictions for Altar Contracts:
- Five Muse Elf characters above level 350.
- While a contract is active between an altar and a Muse Elf, no further interactions are allowed.
Contract Details:
- Maximum of two active contracts; no additional contracts are permitted.
- A contract fails if the character leaves the altar or is killed during the process.
- Contract activation: Five minutes after the contract is established, its effects take hold on the Wolf Statue.
- Shield generation: The number of shields created for the Wolf Statue depends on the number of characters with active contracts at the altar.
Shield Mechanics:
- Initial shield status without contracts: Shield HP = 0.
- If a contracted character is killed: Shield HP = Total HP of the character at the time of the contract.
- Shield durability decreases as the contracted character's HP decreases.
Success
- At least one altar remains intact, and the Wolf Statue is protected by the end of the battle.
- Balgass is defeated.
Failure
- All altars are destroyed, and no contracts are sustained by the battle's conclusion.
- Balgass is not defeated.
